Cardiothoracic Surgeon | Mostly Cardiac with Minimal Thoracic | Metro Kansas

Regional healthcare system is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their team of supportive and collaborative providers to build an expansive team of heart and thoracic specialists.

Practice Details:
• New graduates in 2025 & 2026 are encouraged to apply. Medical director is eager to mentor new grads!
• Call at one location only with light call burden
• Projected pump volume of 130 cases annually per surgeon
• Program is majority cardiac cases but also includes routine thoracic and ability to do vascular cases if desired
• Opportunity to build a robust thoracic program with robotics optional
• Emerging TAVR and Watchman programs with plans for a MITRO Clip program in 2025
• Onsite Procedure Rooms, Lab, Nuclear Testing, Vascular Ultrasound, Echocardiography, EKG, Coumadin Clinic, Vein Clinic, and Cardiac Rehab available
• EPIC EMR
• Academic appointment with no teaching required
• APP Support: inpatient, office, and on-call
• Applicants must be American board certified or eligible in CTS
• New grads can expect a base salary of up to $750K with additional incentives
